Formerly called Iven Field, the park was renamed to honor Ethel G. When the plant was phased out, the land was filled in and made a park site. Please note that as part of the project, at times, the sidewalk from Poplar Avenue to Station will be closed for replacement. In the mid-1940’s, Encke Park was the site of the Radnor Township Sewage Plant. Weather permitting, it is anticipated the project will be completed by mid-April. The hours of work are weekdays (with possible limited Saturday work), 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
